Griechisches Restaurant-Poseidon in Wernigerode

Regular Greek for years. :) super good location, very central, but not quite in the hustle and bustle of the city center, you still have peace and quiet. From the terrace, you can "watch people" and there are parking spaces right across the street. Well, I don't have to mention the food in a big way, I think that explains itself that it tastes great there, otherwise you wouldn't go there forever ... 😋 .. & the waiters and above all the former boss (now unfortunately back in Greece) 😞are great 👍🏻 we always got a seat with him, even when it was completely booked 😁 Yes at this point: All the best for you! 😊 We will still stop by you often :)

Typical Greek food. Lots and tasty. A star deduction because the starter and main course were put on the table at the same time. Ok, the restaurant was full and certainly busy. Still, it shouldn't happen.

Really highly recommended! I would give more stars but unfortunately that doesn't work. Great atmosphere, very nice service who always had a little fun. The food was sufficient and a dream. If you want to eat Greek food, then here!

We just came here for lunch. At first I thought the liver couldn't be topped. But then I tried the gyros ... ... So, in short ... ... I give 6 out of 5 possible points.

Great restaurant, I can only recommend it. The waiters are on their toes and have fun. The starters are delicious and I had the fish plate which was awesome. Everything in top.

Five star plus. Rarely seen such funny, motivated staff as here. Eating an experience, (fish platter). Ambience value for money top. I can only recommend it. Better to reserve a table in advance, that speaks for the restaurant

An excellent restaurant, good fast service, friendly staff and just very tasty tasty food. Excellent delicacy the dishes. We were there in 30 minutes. from the restaurant again, that's what I call faster service. Very well organized. Can only be recommended, as the price-performance ratio is right.

The staff is very friendly, price / performance ratio is okay, barrier-free, indoor and outdoor spaces are available. The food is very good, I would like to come back on my next vacation.

It could have been 5 stars, because the food was really good in terms of price and performance. The preparation time of the dishes was also good. The downside were a few things that are not really right for a good Greek restaurant. At first we didn't get the usual welcome ouzo (first when asked and then with the counter question: You haven't had one yet?!?), Then I wanted to order a Greek Mythos beer, to which the waiter replied: We are here in Germany and not in Greece (just cheeky) !!!!! Now I wanted my dish instead of the standard tomato rice with the typical Greek Kritharaki (noodles) and what does the "nice" waiter do?!? !! .... his professional answer again: we are here in Germany and not in Greece!!! Conclusion: the operating staff should be briefed on friendliness more often! Well, that was my first and last visit there, actually a shame, because as I said ... the food was very good & delicious. So EXTRA praise to the kitchen (5 *)

Fresh food. High quality olive oil. Friendly owner and staff. Will definitely come again when here!

There were 4 of us for lunch and were very satisfied! Great, fast service, drinks came 2 minutes after ordering. We didn't wait 10 minutes for the meal (lunch menu). The portions were very good. Not too much, not too little. All 4 dishes were delicious. Especially gyros liver was very good! At the end there was Greek yoghurt with berries for everyone. Price / performance, waiting time and service top!

The plan was to eat a small Greek salad, actually it was then a starter and main course + coffee and drinks. I almost burst, but shows how good everything was. Thank you for the quick and friendly service.

According to the waiter "all tables, also outside reserved". We then went to another restaurant and passed it on the way back. Half of the tables were empty ... Well, maybe the Greek just wasn't up for guests. We therefore cannot recommend this restaurant!

Very friendly and competent service. The food is very good and the order is delivered quickly. There is always a Uso to greet you. I am very satisfied and can recommend the restaurant. 🙏

Super nice staff. The food was delicious and there was even free dessert. Unfortunately, the main courses were very spicy

Absolute 0-8-15 Greek. Salad was relatively loveless before, consisted mainly of iceberg lettuce and a bland yogurt dressing. Meat and gyros are good, a little bit for me, but I have to say that I'm not a standard here. If you are looking for something special, this is the wrong place.

Here too, the Corona break was used for modernization ... new glasses, new plates ... everything a little fresher. Food and hospitality is great as always.

We got without reservation still a place for 2 persons. Most came, had reservations. The service has been great. The waiters are super quick - maybe sometimes too fast (question if we have drinks requests). But the rest was great. The food was very tasty. We will definitely be back.

Ended up here with a friend by chance and were anything but sorry!! Two hungry hikers who went home exceptionally well fed. We were some if the first guests of the evening and received very fast and friendly service (in German and English). Tables filled up fast, but it seemed like the staff were on top of it. Great food at fair prices, though next time we'll be sure to use the coupon we got with the Wernigerode-Ticket!
